Run The Peninsula – “Elwha River Bridge 5K / 10K” — First event of a new five race series that supports the ODT – Go to Run the Peninsula – Elwha Bridge

Course Marshals – ~ 2 are any of your volunteers flagger certified?
Parking Help / Bus loading – 3-4 Volunteers (I am waiting to hear back from Explorer post to see if they will help with parking. If they can I would just need 1-2 people to help with loading the bus)
Water Stations on Course: 2 Water stations with 3-4 people at each. (if there are enough PTC volunteers… this is one place that I can find a group to do, so this isn’t a high priority)
Bus-Unload: 1-2 (Telling people where to go)
Course Set-up & Take Down: 1-2 (set up mile markers on the entire course…. best to bike with the mile makers in a little carrier)
On- site NO PARKING: 1-2 people to make sure that participants / spectators don’t go down Crown Z-Road and try to park. That parking is only for volunteers and handi-cap. I am waiting to hear if an Elwha Police car will also be at this location to help out and make more of a statement of no PARKING).
WALKING SWEEP – 1 Person. This person will get free entry into the race. Ideally I would love to have the same person for all 4 events (everything but NODM). this person will have to walk the 10K race, but be the VERY LAST person. If you know someone that would be interested in this position can you please have them reach out to me directly.
