May 7th Irrigation Festival Half Marathon – Volunteers needed

Thanks to all the Volunteers – all positions filled to support this Event!!
We are supporting the Sept 7th Irrigation Festival 1st Half Marathon.
This half marathon starts at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the Iconic Troll Haven Bandy Farm on Gardner Beach Road. Run along Gardner Beach road for a few miles before turning onto the Olympic Discovery Trail for the remainder of your race. The half marathon ends at Carrie Blake Park right in the heart of a plethora of fun activities presented by The Irrigation Festival, the longest continuing community festival in the state of Washington.

Volunteers are needed for the following:
Water Station 1 – Diamond Point Road Trailhead (3 miles in). Set up 8:00 am to be ready for first runners around 8:25 am. Time-8:00 am to 9:15ish.
Water Station 2 – Jamestown Tribal Center (6 miles in) 2 Volunteers – Set up would be around 8:15 am to be ready for the first runners around 8:45 am. Time-8:15 to 10:30ish
Water Station 3 – Schoolhouse Road and Sequim Bay State Park – 2 Volunteers – Set up time would be 8:40 to be ready for runners. Time-8:40 to 11:00ish
Water Station 4- White Feather Way Trailhead – 2 Volunteers – Set up time would be 8:50 to be ready. Time- 8:50 to 11:30ish
