Ride The Hurricane is not a race, but a challenging, recreational ride through the gorgeous vistas of Hurricane Ridge Road in the Olympic National Park, absent of motorized vehicles. The road will be closed to motor traffic from 7 am to 12 pm, providing the unique opportunity to enjoy a summertime ride on a closed National Park road.
THE LEGACY ROUTE | This route has a new starting point from the Port Angeles City Pier for a true Sea-level beginning. Registered participants also have the option to park at the Heart of the Hills ranger station at the entrance to Olympic National Park. CENTURY ROUTE | Continue beyond the traditional Legacy Route and tackle the Olympic Discovery Century. This expanded route will combine a mile-high alpine ascent, downhill return, a mile and a half out to sea along Ediz Hook, and the ever-changing scenery of the Olympic Discovery Trail.
