Trail Adopters Needed
Our trail is divided into manageable sections which are maintained by volunteers. These teams are the ones who keep our trail looking so wonderful; mowing, leaf blowing, sign painting, invasive weed pulling, picking up litter, etc. We also maintain the ODT Olympic Adventure Trail.
Adventure Trail – Adopter Section 1001•••Section 1 Trailhead to C.C. Road – 1.25 Mi – 1 vacancy – Share with 1 other adopter Contact Section Manager
Adventure Trail – Adopter Section 1002•••Section 2 C.C. road to milepost 3- .75 Mi – 1 vacancy – Share with 1 other adopter Contact Section Manager
Adventure Trail – Adopter Manager •••Contact Gordon Taylor – Oversee 24 sections & adopters on the Olympic Adventure Trail
Primary Duties:
-
- Monitor for damage to trail, structures, fences and signs.
- Pick up litter
- Remove branches, cuttings, dog & horse piles from the trail surface
- Cut noxious weeds & blackberries from trail edge
- Report any problems needing additional help to your Trail Adopter Section Manager
